[ Where is the Coved Vaccine? ]

UK hospital told to prepare for vaccine rollout by Nov:Report.

Covid-19: Oxford vaccine producing immune response in old and young adults, says UK firm.

The pharmaceutical company said the vaccine also triggered lower adverse responses among the elderly.

United Kingdom-based pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca on Monday said that the coronavirus vaccine being developed by the University of Oxford produces an immune response in both old and young adults, Reuters reported.

The vaccine also triggers lower adverse responses among the elderly, the pharmaceutical company said. “It is encouraging to see immunogenicity responses were similar between older and younger adults and that reactogenicity [referring to common side-effects of vaccines] was lower in older adults, where the Covid-19 disease severity is higher,” an AstraZeneca spokesperson said. “The results further build the body of evidence for the safety and immunogenicity of AZD1222 [technical name of the vaccine].”

The statement is significant as age is considered a principal factor when developing a Covid-19 vaccine, according to The Financial Times. The finding that the AstraZeneca vaccine can trigger T-body cells and antibodies has encouraged researches as they are looking for a cure that would not result in serious diseases or fatalities in the elderly.

The pharmaceutical company, however, did not give details of the findings. It also did not say when the results of the Phase 3 trials would be published that shows the efficacy of the vaccine in large-scale trials to be approved.

Jonathan Ball, professor of virology at the University of Nottingham called the pharmaceutical company’s claims a promising sign. The professor, however, said that it was crucial to know if the vaccine protects against serious diseases.

In July, results of the Phase 1 and 2 trials of the Oxford vaccine published in scientific journal The Lancet indicated that there were no early safety concerns in the vaccine and that it induced “strong immune responses” in both parts of the immune system.

[ Questions on COVID -19. ]

Is there a vaccine, drug or treatment for COVID-19?

While some western, traditional or home remedies may provide comfort and alleviate symptoms of mild COVID-19, there are no medicines that have been shown to prevent or cure the disease. WHO does not recommend self-medication with any medicines, including antibiotics, as a prevention or cure for COVID-19. However, there are several ongoing clinical trials of both western and traditional medicines. WHO is coordinating efforts to develop vaccines and medicines to prevent and treat COVID-19 and will continue to provide updated information as soon as research results become available.May 8, 2020
Which country will be the first to receive COVID-19 vaccine?

In the coming months, we all hope to have good news about a vaccine for COVID-19. But if and when we have an effective vaccine, we must also use it effectively. In time, as production increases, we want all people everywhere to have access to vaccines. But initially, when supply is limited, priority must be given to vaccinating essential workers and those most at risk – including older people and those with underlying conditions. In other words, the first priority must be to vaccinate some people in all countries, rather than all people in some countries.Sep 4, 2020
Does pneumonia vaccine protect against COVID-19?

Vaccines against pneumonia, such as pneumococcal vaccine and Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib) vaccine, do not provide protection against the new coronavirus.

The virus is so new and different that it needs its own vaccine. Researchers are trying to develop a vaccine against COVID-19, and WHO is supporting their efforts.

Although these vaccines are not effective against COVID-19, vaccination against respiratory illnesses is highly recommended to protect your health.

Does COVID-19 affect people of all age groups?

The COVID-19 virus infects people of all ages. However, evidence to date suggests that two groups of people are at a higher risk of getting severe COVID-19 disease. These are older people; and those with underlying medical conditions.Mar 11, 2020

Can COVID-19 spread through food?
It is highly unlikely that people can contract COVID-19 from food or food packaging. COVID-19 is a respiratory illness and the primary transmission route is through person-to- person contact and through direct contact with respiratory droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

There is no evidence to date of viruses that cause respiratory illnesses being transmitted via food or food packaging. Coronaviruses cannot multiply in food; they need an animal or human host to multiply.

[ Coming Home after 15days in Hospital after Covid 19 Infection.]

Myself and my wife came home after getting discharged from hospital with complete cure with out any possibility of getting infected again for 3 months. We were not going to ask him why 3 months as we knew the answer. WE both thanked him and had come home thanked God and sat down. The hospital authorities had sent 2 persons to clean our house and disinfect they wanted to know how they should start.I told them to clean the house as they thought fit and not ask me any question.

The house was cleaned to my satisfaction and I later on, after 3 days that I came to know that 3 bottles of my favorite drinks was also thrown away. I am sure they had not taken it as he had thrown everything that was dirty including few stainless steel vessels. I had no idea that we would be away for 17 days. Going to a hospital after caved -19 infection I did not care what ever would happen will happen will happen.

I was having running nose for several days and doctor said don't worry it will go and coved 19 cannot be there if you have running nose. What ever I asked for some simtoms the same answer. Finaly I asked a  reputed doctor in a reputed hospital his answer was slightly different, he told me that this horrible infections side effects had no medicines and it is going away no sooner than it comes so we should not bother.

Another issue is all my friends except one guy who had come home from hospital want to know:

How I got infected?

How I knew I had infection?

Who infected me?

What are the indications of infections?.

How I managed to get a special room exclusive to me and my wife?.

Which was the hospital?

How was the treatments made?

How many medications were given?.

What was the medications you were asked to take after discharge?.

What side effects I had and I have after discharge?

What are you doing to escape another of this covid 19 infection?.

All the above questions were asked by several friends but not every one asked all the above questions and I am sure no one can ask all these questions.

One thing I know there are several people who are infected but they have no symptoms and they carry on their dail life as if nothing happened to them.

These are the people who spread the infections to every one who comes in contact with them while being close and in conversations with them and they in turn go and spread the infection to others, It is therefore in the interest of all to get themselves TESTED. It is therefore essential to keep themselves wear a mask as prescribed and maintain safe distence as prescribed by authorities.

WEAR MASK - MAINTAIN SAFE DISTANCE AND STAY HOME UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY ONLY IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BEAT COVED-19

[ Our Covid 19, 17 days at Hospital.]

We both spent 15 days taking medications day and night, Doctors would come and talk to me and my wife 2 or 3 times daily, X ray was taken on 3 days,C T scan once and countless tablets and , we could not keep account. I being diabetic was morbid and took more pricks and tablets as also tests my wife being without all these extra tests as she was non diabetic. I was just taking the day as it came however nights were hard but with my meditation all the time was not very much perturbed. Me or my wife slept all the time, I was on oxygen and few days it was hard but over time I got used t it. I could remove it and put it back. I was also told to practice breathing exercises which I knew since Baba Ramdev's Yoga camp here in Bangalore, which I had attended, I had attended as also Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's 'Art of Living' had conducted camps which I had attended.
It was a bit hard for us to know who is a doctor as every  person was dressed almost in a
similar dress and we had to call everybody as doctor.
Food.
Our discomforts were mostly with food though it was from a good hotel medications had made our taste turn in to hate as we found even sugar was also tasting hot. When we told doctors they said it would go after few days. Nearly 6 days it was difficult. The person who was our food server never met us and he would go away after keeping our breakfast,Lunch and Dinner on the table and go away as we would be sleeping. However I caught him and made him take a picture of MENU CARD and send it on Whats App. After this it was nearly 5 days and we could order few items which we were not knowing was available so we ordered and it was a change which was good to us.

Discharge.
We were informed 3 days earlier by some staff that we may be discharged in under 3 days but the Doctor who was in charge did not tell us. On the final day of our discharge the doctor informed that we could go home after lunch and the Ambulance would drop us at our home.

Home at last it looked like a 5 Star Hotel.
