[ My Home - 5.]

Where is your house my old friend who met me at a meeting I attended asked me,I gave him my card and told him here is my home.
How can my home be in my card, that was not what my friend asked.
Oh,you a Ex MD of a textile mill he shot back.
I just smiled and he also smiled and he said you a blogger too.
I nodded my head and he asked me what else do I do.
Now I reminded him that he wanted to know where is my home.
Oh yes I know this place,I called a auto and told him to take me to my home since he knew where it was.
I sat in the auto and told him to get in,we were 5 KM away from my home and it was just 20 minutes ride,my friend could not locate my house even after 45 minutes.
In Bangalore it's not that easy to locate any place ( a home of course ) if you do not know how to go from one place to another.
Even those of my friends who do know my home come only on a function and do not visit frequently.
How to make any one to locate your home.?
Land Mark.My Home needs a land mark.
No problem I followed my instinct and created a Google Map which I propose to print in my Card once the present card gets exhausted.
So my home is a Google dot.
What else can my home be,?

[ Gosai Ghat - If she could swim.]

This is a beauty spot where films are shot or shooting is done.River Kaveri flows gently inviting you to take a dip if you are a swimmer as otherwise it is a risk with no crowd around for help in case you need. The water also is better than other places of the river in and around SriRangaPatana 15 K M from MYSORE.I wanted to know who was the Gosai and where he lived to a lone aged river supervisor,he said the word Gosai means Sanyasi and that it is not the name of any individual, more than 300 years ago Gosai's from North India Kashi ( Varanasi)were here and they had stayed here after building the temple of Kasi Visweswars and Sri.Parvathi and went away after Tipu had come to SriRangaPatana. There are other interesting spots here and they are,Tipu's summer Palace,Tipu's family burial site,Sangam where the Kaveri Joins and the most holy temple of Goddess Sree Nimishamba.

[ Madur Vada.]

I was born here where for over a century this 'Madur Vada' was born. Our Present Minister for Foreign Affairs was also born here.
This is a small town you get if you go by road or train and for all travelers on this route this Vada is a must to eat and enjoy the crisp bite.
The Govt transport bus stops only here for all to have their Tea,Coffee or meals with this Vada to go with.
Recently a new eatery has come up which is clean and well kept at this Bus Stand.
I do not know about the Railway Station as it's or it was LaLu controlled all these years.
The Present Railway Minister may prefer Rasgola for Vada.
We have to dance to the tune of this shameless Ministers and the Railway officials who have spoiled our train to Mysore in not providing us with a/c coaches or fast trains a distance of 130 KM with out a single traffic jam or a road Hump can be traveled in our Maruti 800 in One and half hours but the train takes 4 to 5 hours.
Even by road with over a dozen traffic jams and nearly a hundred road Bumps or Humps or Road Breaks takes 2 hours in small cars,my Maruti Alto.

[ My Chocolate & Cacao,it's benifits.]

Cacao and chocolate was widely used by ancient civilisations as currency and was seen as a 'food for the gods.'

Early colonial records indicate how cacao was used as a medicine and acted as a carrier in the administration of other remedies in the 1500's. The medicinal value of cacao was in its ability to treat weak patients with a variety of dis-ease. It was particularly known to improve digestion and stimulate kidney and bowel function. Additional diseases that responded to treatment using cacao was anaemia, fatigue, fever, low sex drive, respiratory troubles, poor appetite and low breat milk production. In addition to the cacao bean, the oil/butter was used in the treatment of skin problems including eczema, psoriasis and burns. Today, cacao oil is considered a beauty aid in its use as a skin moisturizer, lubricating agent and when combined with the cacao bean, is used to make the chocolate confectionery we're familiar with. All chocolate is derived from the cacao bean/seeds. Nicknamed 'black gold' by the Spanish, it's no mystery that chocolate continues to captivate our taste buds with its rich bittersweet dance on our palette.

With over 300 identifiable chemical compounds, cacao is one of the most complex and pleasurably satisfying foods on the planet. In its raw form, cacao contains anandamide (a euphoric substance), arginine (a natural aphrodisiac), neurotransmitters that stimulate and balance brain activity, tryptophan (an anti-depressant), antioxidants and other beneficial compounds known to have rejuvenating and anti-ageing elements. Cacao is high in the mineral magnesium, essential for helping the heart to pump blood efficiently, building strong bones, and lowering blood pressure. In fact, the strong desire for chocolate during the female menstrual cycle may be related to cravings for magnesium, a mineral with calming qualities. Cacao is a good source of the beauty mineral sulphur, responsible for healthy skin, nails and hair. In todays culture, chocolate is used as a gift for occasions such as St Valentines Day, Easter, Birthdays and Christmas etc. Many of us are likely to consume a little chocolate everyday for its mood boosting effects in an attempt to escape from the stress of working life. Chocolate satiates our appetite for pleasure like no other substance. Is it any wonder that 50% of women prefer chocolate to sex? The portability and availability of chocolate makes it the perfect private pleasure to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

With the revival of films like 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory' and 'Le Chocolat', chocolate lovers everywhere got to indulge their fantasies, inspired by the film industry. It's safe to say that Johnny Depp and Chocolate create a unique and compatible partnership most women would be happy to personally explore! Yes, chocolate and sex go hand in hand and when packaged in shiny red and gold, make a highly attractive and stimulating friend no one wants to be without.

A symbol of sensuality, any male suitor is wise to offer a gift of chocolate to any prospective female; a delightful box of dark edibles all wrapped in decorative gold foil will put a smile on any chocolate-loving females face. Cacao has always been associated with fertility and love by indigenous cultures.

The versatility of chocolate has allowed us to expand our repertoire of how we can engage ourselves with its intense flavours and textures. From mouth-watering rich cream gateaux to the velvety texture in truffles, there is nothing we can't do with chocolate; it inspires us to create more and more mouth-watering variations to satisfy our appetite. In fact, one can devote one's whole life to becoming a chocolate 'creative' of distinction.

Chocolate will always be an affordable luxury that almost anyone can indulge regardless of class or stature. We can all taste what the Aztecs and Mayans tasted and we will always be grateful for their cultivation of the revered and sacred cacao bean. Long may we continue our passionate, blissful affair with this divine gift from the cacao tree.

[ My Temple - At Srirangapatana.]

Having found my school it was not a task for me sitting in a taxi to find my temple. The only problem was the taxi driver who went on cursing silently as I went on giving him directions 360 deg and not finding the temple even though it was just visible to us.Finally we zeroed on the place to find that it was closed for the priest to have his lunch and perhaps his siesta at noon so we said our prayers that is me and my husband.
It was so near that there would be no problem to go again.
My husband asked me what was it I was asking God during my visit to temples,I told him that it was just not possible for me to remember but one thing for sure it was always to ask God to make my task easy in all my exam papers to answer properly and see I pass in my exams.
Here is that temple I saw finally.
I hope to visit this temple again to see Lord Eswara & Parvathi at this holy place Srirangapatana.

[ My School - It was Tipu Sultan's warehouse office.]

It was by my compulsion so often that I made my husband take me to the famous Town of SriRangaPatana 15 KM from Mysore towords Bangalore. He did take me there and we did find the school that was once the officees of the Ware House that stored food items for Tipu Sultan's army inside the fort surrounded by river Kaveri which took a deviation at one point and joined at another about a KM away. The school I did remember was having a big compond but that was not there and there was no girl's school as old as 50 years in any place except this deserted building which was the only place that was a girl's school 50 years back. The school was shifted from the ware house office to the ware house as the Heritage Building was neglected by our monopolistic Archelogical Survey Of India known as ASI( Always Sleeping Indians) of our country. They are sleeping becouse they do not know what to do there being a Heritage Site every 100 KM in our country and our politicians have the gaint country's problem to see to besides their siblings future and indeed to their own.It was in this school around 50+years ago I studied my primary education for a short period a stop gap befour my daddy could get a transfer and we got relocated to a big city for my further studies.Oh my school building let some body renovate it.
I am A.N.Sharada at this school a 6 year old girl.
